Kashmir Council EU Chairman Ali Raza Syed has expressed grave concerns on a deadly attack in Quetta, the capital of Pakistan’s Balochistan province.
At least eight people were killed and above 40 injured in a suicide attack on a Church on Quetta’s Zarghoon Road on Sunday afternoon.
In a statement Mr Ali Raza Syed said, this is a brutal and inhuman act and we strongly condemn it. He added, violence and terrorism is not acceptable in any shape. Such attacks are assaults on sense of connection and shared humanity, tolerance, liberty and respect, Ali Raza Syed said.
Let’s stand with victims of terrorism everywhere including those in Quetta by sharing messages of support and love to the humanity, he continued.
He expressed sympathy with the people of Pakistan specially families of the victims and said, we are standing with the people specially victims of the attack at this moment.
Mr Ali Raza Syed said, “These are hateful incidents and world should be united to confront the menace of terrorism.” We have to stand against the terrorism and give a message to the terrorists that they cannot achieve their evil goals through killing the masses, he added.
